I’m a data privacy and technology attorney licensed in Illinois and a Certified Information Privacy Professional. I’m the Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association’s ePrivacy Committee and the Chair of the Chicago Chapter of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. I’m also the President and legal engineer of a software as a service company that has generated thousands of Privacy Policies. My expertise covers privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, CalOPPA, PIPEDA, Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A, and DOPPA. I have taught GDPR to other attorneys at the Illinois State Bar Association and my compliance guides have been used by companies such as Nike, Hilton, Discover, and more. In my free time, I enjoy hunting for morel mushrooms, beekeeping, taking care of my chickens, and reading books about submarines.
